The time-consuming and debilitating manual methods of first cutting and then gluing backlining material for application to the spines of bound book blocks is eliminated with the MEKASHOOTER. The machine consolidates the measuring, cutting and gluing all into one source, run by a single operator faster and more accurately than conventional methods. When attached to the MEKABIND™ adhesive binder it will dispense, cut and glue a piece of backlining material that will fit the book block. It can also be used as a standalone machine for book blocks bound by any other leaf-attachment method.
